Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a state-of-the-art imaging system that captures highly detailed three-dimensional images using a low-dose, cone-shaped X-ray beam that rotates around the patient.
In less than a minute, CBCT produces comprehensive 3D images of the teeth, jawbone, nerves, sinuses, and surrounding structures. This level of detail allows for more accurate diagnosis and highly precise treatment planning.
Compared to traditional medical CT scans, CBCT uses significantly less radiation, making it a safer and more efficient diagnostic tool for our patients.
Intraoral Camera
We use advanced intraoral camera technology to improve communication and diagnostic accuracy. This compact, high-resolution camera allows us to capture detailed images of the teeth and gums that can be displayed instantly on a screen.
These magnified images help patients better understand their oral health and treatment needs by revealing details that may not be visible during a standard examination.
Intraoral imaging also allows us to maintain a permanent visual record of your dental condition and treatment progress. These images may be shared with specialists, laboratories, or insurance providers as needed.
Digital Impressions
Digital impressions utilize a small intraoral scanner to create highly accurate three-dimensional models of the mouth—eliminating the need for traditional impression materials.
This modern scanning process is faster, cleaner, and significantly more comfortable for patients, while also reducing the risk of distortion or error associated with conventional impression techniques.
Digital impressions are used in the fabrication of crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances. Most scans are completed within three to five minutes, with immediate processing to generate precise 3D models.
Patients are often able to view a digital preview of their restoration or appliance during the same visit, enhancing understanding and engagement in their treatment plan.
