Dr. Manuel Zerquis
Founder & Lead Dentist, Max Dental
Hi, I’m Dr. Manuel Zerquis, founder and lead dentist here at Max Dental.
I was born in Cuba and earned my dental degree from the University of Havana in 2009. In 2014, I moved to the United States with a big dream: to continue growing as a dentist and to provide the best possible care for my patients. A few years later, I completed the General Practice Residency program at the University of Miami, which helped me bring my skills to the next level and truly understand how to serve our community here.
One of my greatest passions in dentistry is placing dental implants — I enjoy the process, the precision, and most of all, seeing how it can truly change someone’s confidence and life. I also love helping patients feel at ease, especially those who might feel nervous about visiting the dentist. To me, it’s not just about teeth — it’s about people.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy playing sports, relaxing at the beach, and spending quality time with my family. I believe balance is important in life — both in health and in happiness.

Dr. Camila Carrillo, DDS
General Dentist – Focused on Root Canals
Hi, I’m Dr. Camila Carrillo. I was born in Cuba and became a dentist there in 2015. After moving to the United States, I worked as a dental assistant while studying to renew my dental license. In 2021, I officially became a licensed dentist here after graduating from the University of Miami.
Since then, I’ve been working as a general dentist, and one of the things I’m most passionate about is performing root canal treatments. I truly enjoy helping patients save their natural teeth and feel better again.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends — especially with my son, who’s the biggest joy in my life.

Hi, I’m Gaby! I started working in the dental field back in 2008, and for over 15 years I’ve been managing dental offices. What I love most about my job is helping patients feel confident and supported — whether it’s answering their questions, helping them understand their insurance, or finding the right financing options to make their treatment possible.
I truly enjoy being part of a team that helps people smile with confidence. My goal is to make sure every patient feels comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of from the moment they walk through our doors.
When I’m not at the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, and doing sports with my family — those are the moments that recharge me.

Hi! Let me tell you a little bit about me. My name is Vladia Rojo. I graduated as a General Dentist in Cuba in 2019. After moving to the United States in 2021, I continued my journey in the dental field by earning my Dental Hygienist Board certification. Dentistry has always been more than just a job to me—it’s a way to help people feel confident, healthy, and cared for.
Working as a Dental Hygienist allows me to combine my clinical skills with my passion for education and patient connection. I enjoy guiding patients through their appointments, explaining each step, and making sure they feel relaxed and supported from start to finish. I believe that creating a positive experience during every visit is just as important as the treatment itself.
One of the things I love most about working at Max Dental is being part of a team that truly cares about the community and puts people first. It’s a place where patients feel at home, and where we’re committed to providing quality care with warmth and integrity.
Outside the office, I enjoy exercising, discovering new places through travel, and unwinding with a good book. I’m excited to welcome you to Max Dental and help you take care of your smile.

Laura Soto
Dental Assistant
Hi! I’m Laura, and I’m 28 years old. I began my journey in the dental field when I graduated as a General Dentist in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, in 2019. In late 2024, I moved to the United States and earned my Dental Assistant certification, continuing my passion for helping others through dentistry.
Being a Dental Assistant allows me to stay connected to the profession I love while supporting both patients and doctors in delivering excellent care. I truly enjoy working one-on-one with patients—helping to ease their nerves, answering their questions, and ensuring they feel comfortable every step of the way.
Outside the dental office, I’m passionate about music and singing. Whether I’m humming a tune or enjoying live performances, music brings joy and balance to my life.

Hi! I’m Dailyn Torres, and I’ve been working in the dental field since graduating from Florida National University as a certified Dental Assistant in 2015. For me, being a dental assistant is more than a job—it’s a way to help people feel comfortable and confident during every step of their treatment.
What I enjoy most about my role is the personal connection I get to build with each patient. I take pride in creating a calm, welcoming environment where people feel cared for and fully informed. Whether it’s helping with a procedure or simply offering a friendly smile, I’m here to support both our patients and our dental team every day.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about traveling and exploring new places. I also love spending time by the ocean—being near the sea is one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge.
